Oli-Lekhak arrest marks “beginning of justice”: Home Minister



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Sudan Gurung has stated that the arrest of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is not an act of revenge.

In a post on social media platform Facebook, Gurung said the move marks the beginning of justice.

“No one is above the law. We have taken former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak into custody. This is not revenge against anyone; it is the beginning of justice,” Gurung wrote.

Oli and Lekhak were arrested by police on Saturday morning.
