Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar stands at Rs 145.27, while the selling rate is Rs 145.87.

The buying rate of one euro is Rs 171.47 and the selling rate is Rs 172.18. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 195.82 and sold at Rs 196.63, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 188.06 and a selling rate of Rs 188.84.

Similarly, the Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 103.27 for buying and Rs 103.70 for selling. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 106.25 and a selling rate of Rs 106.69, and the Singapore dollar is fixed at Rs 114.77 for buying and Rs 115.24 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.32 and the selling rate is Rs 9.36. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 21.18 and sold at Rs 21.27. The Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs 38.73 for buying and Rs 38.89 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.86 for buying and Rs 40.02 for selling.

According to NRB, the Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.67 and sold at Rs 4.69. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 39.55 and a selling rate of Rs 39.72, while the Malaysian ringgit is fixed at Rs 37.33 for buying and Rs 37.49 for selling. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.00 and the selling rate is Rs 10.12. The Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.00 and sold at Rs 16.12, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 22.95 and a selling rate of Rs 23.04.

The Hong Kong dollar is being traded at Rs 18.57 for buying and Rs 18.64 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 475.52 and a selling rate of Rs 477.48. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 385.29 for buying and Rs 386.88 for selling, while the Omani riyal is fixed at Rs 377.34 for buying and Rs 378.90 for selling. Likewise, 100 Indian rupees are being bought at Rs 160.00 and sold at Rs 160.15.

The central bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and updated information is available on the NRB website.
