Rastriya Janamorcha releases election manifesto, calls for scrapping federalism

BUTWAL: The Rastriya Janamorcha on Wednesday unveiled its election manifesto, highlighting the scrapping of federalism and the protection of national unity, sovereignty, and integrity.

The manifesto was presented at a program in Butwal by Rastriya Janamorcha Chairperson Chitra Bahadur KC and other party leaders ahead of the House of Representatives election.

Addressing the event, KC accused the previous government and ruling parties of failing to fulfill national objectives. He claimed that the current parliament was dissolved to facilitate elections controlled by NGO-INGO affiliates rather than serving the country’s interests.

He further alleged that those who joined the government with no expectation of timely elections resigned for personal gain and then focused on the upcoming elections.

KC warned that Nepal and its citizens are currently facing a grave crisis, and the nation’s sovereignty is under threat. He urged voters to seriously support leaders committed to working for the country and to send them to parliament, including by voting for Rastriya Janamorcha candidates.
