Kathmandu Festival and Business Expo kicks off at Bhrikutimandap



KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Festival and Kathmandu Business Expo has begun at Bhrikutimandap from Wednesday, organized by the Kathmandu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The festival aims to promote local products, art and culture, tourism, trade, innovation, and entrepreneurship. According to the organizers, the event will continue until January 31.

The expo was inaugurated by Acting Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Dangol. Around 200 commercial stalls have been set up at the venue, showcasing a wide range of locally produced goods, services, and business innovations.

Organizers said the festival is expected to provide a platform for entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises, and local producers to connect with consumers and promote domestic products, while also contributing to the city’s economic and cultural vibrancy.
