Gold price reaches Rs 318,800 per tola



KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver reached record highs in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 318,800 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 7,300 per tola.

On Tuesday, fine gold was traded at Rs 309,300 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 6,870 per tola.

International media reports said that gold is being traded at USD 5,200 per ounce in the international market on Wednesday, while silver is being traded at USD 111 per ounce.
