KATHMANDU: Nepal and Belarus have agreed to waive visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, official and service passports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement was signed by Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Before signing the agreement, the two foreign ministers held a cordial meeting and discussed various matters of mutual interest. They expressed a shared commitment to further strengthen friendly bilateral relations and expand cooperation in areas including labor, education, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges.
