Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.37, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 152.97.

The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at Rs 177.74 and the selling rate at Rs 178.44. Similarly, the buying rate of one British pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 207.60 and the selling rate at Rs 208.41. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 189.53 and the selling rate at Rs 190.27.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.42 and the selling rate at Rs 109.85. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.88 and the selling rate at Rs 110.32. The buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 119.98 and the selling rate at Rs 120.45.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.58 and the selling rate at Rs 9.62. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.67 and the selling rate at Rs 22.76. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 40.58 and the selling rate at Rs 40.74, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.80 and a selling rate of Rs 41.96.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.65 and the selling rate at Rs 4.67. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.48 and the selling rate at Rs 41.65. Similarly, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.84 and the selling rate is Rs 37.99. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 11.11 and the selling rate at Rs 11.04.

The buying rate of one Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 16.06 and the selling rate at Rs 16.12, while the buying rate of one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.78 and the selling rate at Rs 23.87.

The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.44 and the selling rate at Rs 19.51. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 496.56 and the selling rate at Rs 498.52. Similarly, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 404.16 and the selling rate is Rs 405.75, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 395.78 and a selling rate of Rs 397.34.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It added that exchange rates fixed by commercial banks may differ from those set by the central bank. The updated exchange rates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s website.
