Dollar, euro and pound exchange rates fluctuate in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Monday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 154.21 and the selling rate at Rs 154.81.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.31 and the selling rate at Rs 175.99. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 205.46, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 206.26.

Among other major foreign currencies, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 107.65 and the selling rate at Rs 108.07. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.41 and the selling rate at Rs 109.83.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary slightly, with updated exchange rates available on the central bank’s website.
