Nepal’s economy projected to grow by 3.85 percent in FY 2026/27



KATHMANDU: The government has made public the Economic Survey for the fiscal year 2026/27.

Presenting the report at Wednesday’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle said Nepal’s economy is expected to grow by 3.85 percent during the current fiscal year.

According to the survey, economic growth in all provinces except Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province is projected to remain below the national average growth rate.

The government released the survey ahead of the upcoming annual budget presentation, outlining the country’s overall economic performance and sector-wise progress during the current fiscal year.
