Pakistan PM congratulates Balen, pledges closer cooperation



KAHTMANDU: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated newly appointed Balendra Shah, wishing him a successful tenure.

In a message shared on social media platform X, Prime Minister Sharif extended his congratulations to Shah on being elected with a large majority of the National Independent Party and assuming office as Nepal’s Prime Minister.

He emphasized that Pakistan values long-term and friendly relations with Nepal and expressed hope for close cooperation with Prime Minister Shah to further strengthen bilateral ties, while promoting regional peace, stability, and shared prosperity.
