Communication Minister Bikram Timilsina assumes office, stresses youth-driven transformation



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Minister for Communication and Information Technology Bikram Timilsina has assumed office at the ministry following his oath of office at Shital Niwas on Friday.

Soon after taking the oath, Minister Timilsina reached the ministry and formally took charge of his responsibilities.

Addressing a program held at the ministry, Timilsina said that it is a shared responsibility to move the country forward in line with the aspirations of the youth. He emphasized the need to create hope in the country so that young people are encouraged to stay rather than seek opportunities abroad.

Stating that he has no room for mistakes, Timilsina urged all stakeholders to support his mission of transformation. He also expressed commitment to working closely with ministry staff to bring reforms in agencies under its jurisdiction.
