Gold, silver prices drop in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices declined in the local market on Friday, with gold falling by Rs 4,600 per tola and silver also witnessing a drop of Rs 150.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 281,000 per tola, while silver is trading at Rs 4,670 per tola today.

On Thursday, hallmark gold was priced at Rs 285,600 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 4,820 per tola.

Similarly, on Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 288,500 per tola and silver at Rs 4,920 per tola.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is being traded at 4,434 US dollars per ounce, while silver stands at 69 US dollars per ounce, according to international media reports.
