Nepali Congress to hold mass gathering in Pokhara targeting March 5 polls



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress is organizing a mass gathering in Pokhara today in view of the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

The event will be held at Amarsingh Ground, where party General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa and Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma are scheduled to address the gathering, according to Nabindra Sigdel, Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of Nepali Congress Kaski.

Sigdel said candidates from all 18 constituencies within the province, along with party leaders and cadres, will participate in the event.

Through the mass meeting, the party aims to deliver a direct message to the public about what it describes as a renewed Nepali Congress, outlining its clear ideology, policies, working style and future plans.

With the election date approaching, political parties have intensified their campaign activities across the country.
