Oli to hold interaction with students in Damak today



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to hold an interaction with students in Damak, Jhapa, today.

According to the announced program, Oli will engage in discussions with students from various colleges and schools in the area at 11 am at Hotel Coronation. The interaction marks the first event of the day under his election-focused outreach campaign.

The program has been organized as part of preparations for the upcoming polls.

Indra Bhandari, coordinator of the CPN-UML Election Publicity Sub-Committee for Jhapa Constituency No. 5, said the discussion will focus on listening to the concerns and queries of students. He added that Chair Oli will respond to issues raised during the interaction. Around 300 students from the constituency are expected to participate in the program.

Following the student interaction in Damak, Oli is scheduled to spend the rest of the day meeting voters at various locations in Gauradaha Municipality of Jhapa.

As per the announced itinerary, he will reach Khangta in Ward No. 4 of Gauradaha Municipality at 1:30 pm to interact with locals. After that, he will visit Miya Toli in the same ward for further meetings.

During the outreach programs, Oli is expected to listen to local concerns and address issues related to development and public grievances.

Later in the afternoon, he will reach Durga Chowk, Majhuwa, at 3 pm to hold discussions with voters, followed by another interaction program at Fakirdhip at 3:30 pm.

The meetings are being organized in a group format, where Oli will hear residents’ concerns and share his views on possible solutions. He has been conducting similar grassroots-level interactions across his constituency, reaching out to local communities and engaging directly with voters.
