KATHMANDU: A US congressional delegation led by Representative Jason Smith, chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, met with Speaker of the House of Representatives Dol Prasad Aryal and members of Parliament’s International Relations Committee on October 23.
The meeting highlighted the nearly 80-year diplomatic relationship between Nepal and the United States and underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation.
According to the information shared about the visit, the delegation emphasized a strong US-Nepal partnership aimed at protecting American citizens, advancing US economic interests, and promoting greater security and prosperity in both countries.
