Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Saturday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 153.01 and the selling rate at Rs. 153.81.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs. 174.32 and the selling rate at Rs. 175.00. Similarly, one British pound sterling has been fixed at Rs. 202.64 for buying and Rs. 203.43 for selling, while one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs. 184.46 for buying and Rs. 185.18 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs. 107.55 and the selling rate is Rs. 107.97. One Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs. 108.18 for buying and Rs. 108.60 for selling, while one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs. 119.73 for buying and Rs. 120.20 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.68 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.72. Similarly, one Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs. 22.79 for buying and Rs. 22.88 for selling.

The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs. 40.75 and the selling rate is Rs. 40.91, while one Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs. 42.00 for buying and Rs. 42.16 for selling.

According to the central bank, one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs. 4.59 for buying and Rs. 4.60 for selling. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs. 41.66 and the selling rate is Rs. 41.82, while one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs. 37.56 for buying and Rs. 37.70 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs. 11.29 and the selling rate is Rs. 11.33. Similarly, one Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs. 15.44 for buying and Rs. 15.51 for selling, while one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs. 23.32 for buying and Rs. 23.41 for selling.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs. 19.15 and the selling rate at Rs. 19.58. One Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs. 497.27 for buying and Rs. 499.22 for selling, while one Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs. 405.89 for buying and Rs. 407.48 for selling.

The buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs. 397.42 and the selling rate is Rs. 398.98. The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have both been fixed at Rs. 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. The exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
