Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.37 and the selling rate at Rs 152.97.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 177.78 and the selling rate at Rs 178.48. Similarly, the buying rate of one British pound sterling is Rs 207.86 and the selling rate is Rs 208.67, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 189.85 and the selling rate is Rs 190.59.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.99 and the selling rate at Rs 109.42. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.97 and the selling rate is Rs 110.40, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.95 and the selling rate is Rs 120.42.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.57 and the selling rate is Rs 9.60. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.68 and the selling rate is Rs 22.76. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.58 and the selling rate is Rs 40.74, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.79 and the selling rate is Rs 41.96.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.65 and the selling rate is Rs 4.67. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.48 and the selling rate is Rs 41.65, while the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.65 and the selling rate is Rs 37.80.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.01 and the selling rate is Rs 11.05. The source text lists the next currency rates as Rs 16.06 for buying and Rs 16.12 for selling, but does not identify the currency. The buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.78 and the selling rate is Rs 23.87.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.44 and the selling rate at Rs 19.52. Similarly, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 496.56 and the selling rate is Rs 498.52, while the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 404.14 and the selling rate is Rs 405.73.

The buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 395.78 and the selling rate is Rs 397.34. Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may differ and that updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
