KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices rose slightly in the domestic market today. Compared to Friday, the price of gold increased by Rs 1,600 per tola, while silver gained Rs 60 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 287,100 per tola, while silver is being traded at Rs 4,410 per tola.
On Friday, fine gold was priced at Rs 285,500 per tola and silver at Rs 4,350 per tola. On Thursday, fine gold was traded at Rs 291,300 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 4,505 per tola.
In the international market, gold was trading at around USD 4,052 per ounce, while silver was trading at approximately USD 58 per ounce, according to international media reports.
