NRB issues foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 154.21, while the selling rate is Rs 154.81.

The buying rate of one euro is Rs 175.64 and the selling rate is Rs 176.32. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 205.38 and the selling rate is Rs 206.18. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 188.87 and the selling rate is Rs 189.60.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 107.82 and the selling rate is Rs 108.24. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 109.53 and the selling rate is Rs 109.95. Likewise, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 119.45 and the selling rate is Rs 119.92.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.42 and the selling rate is Rs 9.46. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.77 and the selling rate is Rs 22.86. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 41.08 and the selling rate is Rs 41.24, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 42.30 and the selling rate is Rs 42.46.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.58 and the selling rate is Rs 4.60. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.99 and the selling rate is Rs 42.15. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.69 and the selling rate is Rs 37.84. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.54 and the selling rate is Rs 10.59. The buying rate of one Swedish krona is Rs 15.86 and the selling rate is Rs 15.92, while the buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.49 and the selling rate is Rs 23.59.

NRB has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.67 and the selling rate at Rs 19.74. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 501.01 and the selling rate is Rs 502.96. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 408.99 and the selling rate is Rs 410.58, while the buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 400.53 and the selling rate is Rs 402.09.

Likewise, the buying rate of Indian currency is fixed at Rs 160 for INR 100, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

NRB has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
