Gold price rises by Rs 800 after three consecutive days of decline



KATHMANDU: After declining continuously for the past three days, the price of gold increased on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 800 per tola.

With the increase, fine gold is being traded at Rs 279,100 per tola in the Nepali market today.

On the previous trading day, gold prices had dropped by Rs 5,200 per tola to reach Rs 278,300.

Meanwhile, the price of silver declined on Thursday. Silver became cheaper by Rs 55 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,180 per tola, according to the association.
