NRB issues foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Friday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 150.74 and the selling rate at Rs 151.34.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 171.24 and the selling rate at Rs 171.92. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 198.70, while the selling rate is Rs 199.49. The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at Rs 185.71 and the selling rate at Rs 186.45.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 103.99 and the selling rate is Rs 104.40. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 105.90 and sold at Rs 106.32, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 116.24 and sold at Rs 116.71.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.32 and the selling rate at Rs 9.35. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.17 and sold at Rs 22.26.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.15 and the selling rate is Rs 40.31, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 41.37 and sold at Rs 41.54.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.52 and the selling rate is Rs 4.54. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.04 and sold at Rs 41.21. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been set at Rs 36.61 and the selling rate at Rs 36.76.

Likewise, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 9.77 and sold at Rs 9.81. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.48 and sold at Rs 15.54, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 22.91 and sold at Rs 23.00.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.23 and the selling rate at Rs 19.30. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 489.57 and sold at Rs 491.52, while one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 399.81 and sold at Rs 401.41.

The buying rate of one Omani rial has been set at Rs 391.55 and the selling rate at Rs 393.11. Meanwhile, the buying rate of Indian Rs 100 remains Rs 160.00 and the selling rate Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that the rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
