KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.08, while the selling rate stands at Rs 152.68.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is Rs 177.09 and the selling rate is Rs 177.79. The buying rate of one British Pound Sterling has been set at Rs 205.24 and the selling rate at Rs 206.05, while the buying and selling rates of one Swiss Franc are Rs 194.64 and Rs 195.41 respectively.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 109.03 and the selling rate is Rs 109.46. Likewise, one Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 110.10 and a selling rate of Rs 110.54, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 119.06 and a selling rate of Rs 119.53.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen has been fixed at Rs 9.57 and the selling rate at Rs 9.61. Similarly, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is Rs 22.42 and the selling rate is Rs 22.50.
The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is Rs 40.53 and the selling rate is Rs 40.69, while one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of Rs 41.72 and a selling rate of Rs 41.88. Likewise, the buying rate of one Thai Baht is Rs 4.68 and the selling rate is Rs 4.70.
The buying rate of one UAE Dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.40 and the selling rate at Rs 41.57. Similarly, one Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 38.48 and a selling rate of Rs 38.63, while the buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean Won are Rs 10.04 and Rs 10.08 respectively.
The buying rate of one Swedish Kroner stands at Rs 16.39 and the selling rate at Rs 16.46. Likewise, one Danish Kroner has a buying rate of Rs 23.70 and a selling rate of Rs 23.79, while one Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 19.41 and a selling rate of Rs 19.49.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti Dinar has been set at Rs 495.86 and the selling rate at Rs 497.82. Similarly, one Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of Rs 403.40 and a selling rate of Rs 404.99, while one Omani Rial has a buying rate of Rs 395.01 and a selling rate of Rs 396.57.
The buying rate of Indian currency for Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
