Kathmandu Valley under thick cloud cover as skies turn dark



KATHMANDU: Cloud cover has blanketed the Kathmandu Valley, making the sky appear unusually dark.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, light rainfall has been reported in some parts of the Valley.

The sky over Kathmandu Valley is currently overcast, the Division said adding that thunder has been heard, and light rain is occurring in areas including Chandragiri.

According to the Division, the cloud cover is not limited to the capital. Skies are also overcast from eastern Gandaki Province to western Koshi Province, with rainfall reported in several parts of the country.
