Gold price drops by Rs 2,900 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold declined by Rs 2,900 per tola on Thursday in the domestic market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The federation has fixed the price of gold at Rs 285,600 per tola for the day. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 288,500 per tola.

Overall, the price of gold has fallen by Rs 16,700 per tola over the past week. Last Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 302,300 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also decreased. Silver fell by Rs 100 per tola compared to the Wednesday.

Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,920 per tola on Wednesday, is being traded at Rs 4,820 per tola today. Last Thursday, silver was priced at Rs 5,010 per tola.
