KATHMANDU: The Election Commission Nepal has written to the Press Council Nepal seeking the removal of a controversial video published by the BBC on Thursday.
The Commission sent a formal letter to the Council requesting necessary action to take down the video content, which it described as controversial.
Acting Chief Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari informed that the letter was dispatched to the Press Council urging it to intervene and halt the circulation of the BBC video material.
