NC President Gagan Thapa heading to Sarlahi today



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa is visiting Sarlahi today as part of his election campaign.

According to Thapa’s secretariat, he is scheduled to depart this morning on the 10:30 am flight and reach Sarlahi via Simara.

Thapa is contesting the upcoming House of Representatives election, scheduled for March 5, from Sarlahi–4 constituency. He had registered his candidacy through a proxy and is set to visit his constituency for the first time today after filing his nomination.

During the visit, Thapa is scheduled to hold political meetings and discussions at Bagmati Bridge in Karmaiya.

The visit marks the beginning of his direct engagement with voters in the constituency ahead of the election.
