Balen to launch door-to-door campaign in Damak today

DAMAK: Balendra (Balen) Sah, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) from Jhapa-5, is set to launch a door-to-door campaign in Damak on Monday.

The campaign will begin at 8:00 am from Uraon Basti in Damak-9, where supporters have been asked to gather, according to the party. The Uraon community is an indigenous group with deep roots in Nepal’s eastern Terai and is often marginalized and economically disadvantaged.

According to Balen’s secretariat, the campaign route will pass through Panini School, Dev Singh Tole, Naubhai Chowk and Buddha Chowk, before concluding at Uraon Basti. During the campaign, Balen will engage directly with local residents to hear their concerns and present his election commitments, the party said.
