NA endorses proposal to send bill to committee for clause-wise deliberations



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) today unanimously endorsed a proposal to refer the bill seeking to revive a previous provision under the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 (1985), to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise deliberations.

The upper house received the proposal from the House of Representatives along with its message.

NA Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal put the proposal to a vote, following which he announced that it had been unanimously endorsed by the meeting.

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, had tabled the proposal before the meeting.

The next meeting of the National Assembly has been scheduled for September 1 at 1:15 pm.
