RSP election: Nisha secures highest votes in Koshi Province



KATHMANDU: Results of the central committee election under the Koshi Province group at the first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been made public.

According to the results, Nisha Mehta secured the highest number of votes in the Koshi Province category with 1,861 votes.

Former police officer Bishwaraj Pokharel finished in second place with 1,460 votes.

Similarly, Shobha Karki received 1,204 votes and Kalpana Thapa secured 939 votes, placing them among the elected candidates.

Other elected candidates include Sujata Tamang with 839 votes, Lal Bikram Thapa with 783 votes, Sayam Lal Chaudhary with 758 votes, Prakash Pathak with 743 votes, Birendra Shrestha with 631 votes, Raj Kumar Rai with 624 votes and Paramani Gelal with 613 votes.
