24 detained in Dhangadhi over alleged immoral activities at hotels



KATHMANDU: Police have taken 24 people into custody in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City following information suggesting alleged immoral activities were taking place in various hotels in the market area.

According to Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson for the District Police Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police, police conducted inspections at several hotels and lodges and detained 11 women and 13 men allegedly involved in such activities.

Among those detained, seven are Indian male nationals, he said.

Police said those taken into custody are being held for further investigation.
