Balendra Shah to be sworn in as Prime Minister on Friday



KATHMANDU: The country is set to get a new Prime Minister on March 27, with senior Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Balendra Shah (Balen) scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy on Friday.

The swearing-in ceremony is set for 12:34 PM.

Later in the afternoon, at 2:15 PM, Balen will formally assume office at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office in Singha Durbar.

The ceremony will cover both direct and proportional representation seats.
