KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN-UML is scheduled to be held today at 10:00 am at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.
The meeting will discuss finalizing members of the Standing Committee and Politburo, completing the party’s various departments, and appointing co-incharges for geographical and non-geographical committees, party sources said.
UML Publicity Department Chief Neeraj Acharya said the Secretariat will endorse a proposal on the division of responsibilities among party leaders and submit it to the Central Committee.
Meanwhile, the Central Committee meeting, which has been underway for the past few days, will also continue today. Central Committee members are scheduled to continue expressing their views during the meeting.
According to the UML, the Central Committee meeting will begin at 12:30 pm.
