Speaker Aryal directs removal of un-parliamentary statements

KATHMANDU: Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has directed the Federal Parliament Secretariat to delete un-parliamentary statements made by members of parliament in the previous meetings.

He directed the secretariat staffers to remove the statement made by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Indira Rana Magar and CPN (UML) MP Ram Bahadur Thapa from the records of the Parliament.

In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Speaker Aryal drew the attention of the MPs not to make statements in the House by linking the issue of governance practices of neighboring and friendly countries to Nepal’s governance practices with the intention of giving a wrong interpretation.
