KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 154.22, while the selling rate has been fixed at Rs 154.82.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 176.00 and the selling rate at Rs 176.69. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at Rs 206.22 and the selling rate at Rs 207.02. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 189.33 and the selling rate at Rs 190.07.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 107.93 and the selling rate at Rs 108.35. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.51 and the selling rate at Rs 109.94, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been set at Rs 119.51 and the selling rate at Rs 119.97.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.44 and the selling rate at Rs 9.48. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been set at Rs 22.78 and the selling rate at Rs 22.87. Likewise, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.09 and the selling rate at Rs 41.25, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal has been set at Rs 42.30 and the selling rate at Rs 42.47.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.56 and the selling rate at Rs 4.58. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been set at Rs 41.99 and the selling rate at Rs 42.15. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.72 and the selling rate at Rs 37.86. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been set at Rs 10.50 and the selling rate at Rs 10.54. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.87 and the selling rate at Rs 15.93, while the buying rate of one Danish krone has been set at Rs 23.54 and the selling rate at Rs 23.64.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.67 and the selling rate at Rs 19.75. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been set at Rs 501.04 and the selling rate at Rs 502.99. Likewise, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 409.02 and the selling rate at Rs 410.61, while the buying rate of one Omani rial has been set at Rs 400.57 and the selling rate at Rs 402.13.
The buying rate of Indian Rs 100 has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It added that the rates quoted by commercial banks may differ, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
