NRB issues foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.81, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.41.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 177.17 and the selling rate at Rs 177.86. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 205.06, while the selling rate is Rs 205.87. The buying and selling rates of one Swiss franc have been fixed at Rs 194.20 and Rs 194.97 respectively.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.85 and the selling rate at Rs 109.27.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 110.76 and the selling rate is Rs 111.19. Likewise, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been set at Rs 119.34 and the selling rate at Rs 119.81.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.60 and the selling rate at Rs 9.64. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan stands at Rs 22.59, while the selling rate is Rs 22.68.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.72 and the selling rate is Rs 40.88. The buying rate of one Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.94 and the selling rate at Rs 42.10.

The buying rate of one Thai baht stands at Rs 4.67 and the selling rate at Rs 4.69. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.61 and the selling rate is Rs 41.77.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 38.51 and the selling rate at Rs 38.66.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.07 and the selling rate at Rs 10.11. The buying and selling rates of one Swedish krona are Rs 16.31 and Rs 16.37 respectively.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.71 and the selling rate at Rs 23.80.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar stands at Rs 19.50 and the selling rate at Rs 19.58.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 498.08 and the selling rate at Rs 500.23. The buying and selling rates of one Bahraini dinar are Rs 405.28 and Rs 406.87 respectively, while the buying rate of one Omani riyal is Rs 396.90 and the selling rate is Rs 398.46.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15.

The central bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the official website of Nepal Rastra Bank.
