RSP Chair Lamichhane says he speaks loudly because of people’s suffering

ITAHARI: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has said that his forceful tone in public speeches comes from the pain and struggles faced by the people.

Addressing a party election rally in Itahari on Tuesday, Lamichhane explained why he speaks sharply, saying that questions often arise about his loud style, unlike other leaders who speak softly and politely.

“People often tell me that I speak too strongly, that I could speak gently like other leaders who carefully choose words. They ask why I have to raise my voice. The reason is simple: they are not in pain, but we are. A person who is hurting speaks out strongly. We are in pain,” he said.

Lamichhane also highlighted a recent incident where he reportedly confronted illegal activities involving certain individuals, including reporting on a case involving Laxmi Pariyar, which forced him into a studio to protest. He said such experiences contribute to his louder style of speaking.
