KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has passed the ‘Infectious Animal Disease (Control) Bill, 2083’.
A proposal seeking consideration on the bill by Minister for Agriculture, Forests, and Environment, Gita Chaudhary, was unanimously passed at today’s meeting of the lower house. The bill had originated in the National Assembly,
Lawmakers Shobha Khanal, Ganga Laxmi Awal, Madhav Bahadur Thapa, Mohan Lal Acharya, Samiksha Baskota, Pushpa Kumari Chaudhary, Ganesh Bahadur Bishwakarma, Dr Ojaswi Sherchan, Tara Bishwakarma, Ganga Devi Shrestha, Parbati BK, Ninu Kumari Karna, Bharat Prasad Parajuli, Hari Mohan Bhandari, Rajan Gautam, and Hari Prasad Bhusal all affirmed the necessity of the bill for controlling infectious animal diseases.
The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 11:00 AM tomorrow. (RSS)
