KATHMANDU: The third day of the ongoing Central Committee meeting of the CPN-UML, which is focused on discussions about the party’s reorganization, is being held today.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 9:00 am, will continue with Central Committee members expressing their views on the report presented by Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
According to Neeraj Acharya, head of the party’s Publicity and Publication Department, 118 Central Committee members had expressed their views on the report by Tuesday, while the remaining members are scheduled to speak today. Each member has been allocated three minutes to present their views.
Acharya said preparations are underway to convene a party Secretariat meeting on Thursday after all Central Committee members have presented their views.
He said the Secretariat meeting is expected to take several important decisions, which will then be presented to the Central Committee for approval.
