Gold price up by Rs 2,800 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has increased in the local market today, while the price of silver has declined. The price of gold has increased by Rs 2,800 per tola, while silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 319,500 per tola today. Similarly, the price of fine silver has been fixed at Rs 4,975 per tola.

Last Friday, fine gold was traded at Rs 316,700 per tola, while fine silver was priced at Rs 4,985 per tola. According to international media reports, gold is being traded at $4,623 per ounce and silver at $69 per ounce in the international market today.
