Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the official foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 152.82, while the selling rate is Rs 153.42.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 178.83 and the selling rate at Rs 189.53. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 208.73 and the selling rate is Rs 209.55. The buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 191.23 and the selling rate is Rs 191.98.

The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.46 for buying and Rs 109.89 for selling, while the buying and selling rates of one Canadian dollar are Rs 111.17 and Rs 111.61, respectively. Likewise, one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 120.45 and a selling rate of Rs 120.92.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.64 and the selling rate is Rs 9.67. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.74 for buying and Rs 22.83 for selling. Similarly, the buying and selling rates of one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 40.70 and Rs 40.86, while those of one Qatari riyal are Rs 41.93 and Rs 42.09, respectively.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.68 and the selling rate is Rs 4.69. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 41.61 and a selling rate of Rs 41.77, while the Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.84 for buying and Rs 37.99 for selling. The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean won are Rs 11.04 and Rs 11.08, respectively. Similarly, one Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 16.15 and a selling rate of Rs 16.21, while one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.92 for buying and Rs 24.01 for selling.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.49 and the selling rate is Rs 19.57. One Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 498.19 and a selling rate of Rs 500.15, while one Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 405.34 for buying and Rs 406.93 for selling. The buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 396.95 and the selling rate is Rs 398.51.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. Rates set by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and updated exchange rates will be available on Nepal Rastra Bank’s website.
