KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 154.21, while the selling rate stands at Rs 154.81.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 175.88 and the selling rate is Rs 176.56. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 206.19 and sold at Rs 207.00, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 189.79 and sold at Rs 190.52.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 107.86 and the selling rate is Rs 108.28. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 109.39 and sold at Rs 109.81, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 119.43 and sold at Rs 119.89.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.46 and the selling rate at Rs 9.50. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.77 and sold at Rs 22.86. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 41.09 and sold at Rs 41.25, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 42.30 and sold at Rs 42.47.
According to NRB, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.56 and the selling rate is Rs 4.58. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.99 and sold at Rs 42.15, one Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.73 and Rs 37.88, one South Korean won at Rs 10.41 and Rs 10.45, one Swedish krona at Rs 15.88 and Rs 15.94, and one Danish krone at Rs 23.53 and Rs 23.62, respectively.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.67 and the selling rate at Rs 19.75. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 501.01 and sold at Rs 502.96, one Bahraini dinar at Rs 408.99 and Rs 410.58, and one Omani rial at Rs 400.55 and Rs 402.10.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that the rates quoted by commercial banks may vary and that the latest official exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
