KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML central Secretariat meeting is scheduled to be held on Wednesday.
Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli announced the meeting during the ongoing Central Committee meeting in Chyasal, Lalitpur.
General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and other leaders had demanded that the task force report be presented and discussed at the Central Committee meeting. However, Oli maintained that the issues covered by the task force report had already been incorporated into his political report.
The position has reportedly drawn dissatisfaction from members of the task force, who have expressed concerns over the way the report is being handled.
