TANAHUN: A tipper driver has died in a road accident in Tanahun district.
The accident occurred near Gumba area of Bandipur Rural Municipality–4, according to police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire said the driver, identified as 36-year-old Chunu Shrestha of Byas Municipality–4, lost control of the tipper vehicle (Ga 1 Ka 5466), resulting in the accident.
Shrestha succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a military hospital in Pokhara on Sunday.
Police are investigating the incident further.
