KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and former Chief Justice Sushila Karki is set to release her new literary work, Mitty and the Wild Cat.
Karki said she wrote the children’s book during one of the country’s most challenging political periods while leading the interim government formed after the Gen Z movement that displaced the previous administration.
According to her, the book explores child psychology through imagination and creativity, while also conveying messages of love, hope, and positivity during a time of national uncertainty.
Karki, Nepal’s first female Chief Justice, has dedicated the book to her grandson.
She has previously published two literary works — Nyaya (Justice), a memoir, and Kaara, a novel.
