Agriculture Ministry wants smooth supply of chemical fertilizers



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has written to all concerned bodies to ease supply of chemical fertilizers.

 Although the country has the stock of chemical fertilizers managed under the current fiscal year, the supply system could be obstructed in view of conflict in West Asia. So, the bodies concerned are urged for additional attention to ease the supply.

 Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Gita Chaudhary, wrote to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, the Agriculture Department, the National Agriculture Modernization Programme, and the provincial ministries of agriculture to make necessary arrangement on time so that smooth sales and distribution of fertilizers would be ensured for the coming season of paddy plantation.
