PM Shah takes charge of Home Ministry after Gurung’s resignation



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has assigned the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs Nepal to Prime Minister Balendra Shah himself.

According to the Office of the President, the decision was made on the recommendation of the Prime Minister after then Home Minister Sudan Gurung submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister earlier today.

With this arrangement, Prime Minister Shah will directly oversee the responsibilities of the Home Ministry until further notice, the statement added.
