670 industries and businesses registered in Tanahun in a year



DAMAULI: The number of industries and businesses operating in Tanahun has increased, with 670 new enterprises registered in the district during the last fiscal year.

According to the Integrated Services Office, 243 industries and 427 commercial firms were registered during the fiscal year. The newly registered enterprises are engaged in trade, production and service-related activities.

Office Chief Ishwori Prasad Regmi said 484 industries and businesses were closed during the same period. He added that the number of newly registered enterprises increased by 94 compared with fiscal year 2081/82.

The office has so far renewed the registrations of 3,477 industries and businesses.
