CHITWAN: Leader of the Nepali Communist Party Barshaman Pun said party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda had expressed a strong desire to attend the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) first national general convention but was unable to do so due to health reasons.
Speaking at the convention venue in Chitwan on Sunday, Pun said he had been sent as a representative of Prachanda to convey his greetings.
“Our coordinator Prachanda had a strong wish to attend, but his health condition did not allow it, so I have come on his behalf,” he said.
Pun also read out a message of goodwill sent by Prachanda to the convention.
