KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 154.62, while the selling rate stands at Rs 155.22.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 179.31 and the selling rate at Rs 180.01. One UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 207.14 and a selling rate of Rs 207.94.
The buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 195.62 and the selling rate at Rs 196.38. Likewise, the Australian dollar is being exchanged at Rs 110.16 for buying and Rs 110.59 for selling.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar stands at Rs 112.32 and the selling rate at Rs 112.76. The Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 120.74 for buying and Rs 121.21 for selling.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at Rs 9.72 and the selling rate at Rs 9.76. Similarly, one Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 22.73 for buying and Rs 22.82 for selling.
The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 41.20 and the selling rate is Rs 41.36, while one Qatari riyal is being exchanged at Rs 42.42 for buying and Rs 42.58 for selling.
Likewise, one Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.73 and a selling rate of Rs 4.75. The UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 42.10 for buying and Rs 42.26 for selling.
The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 38.95 and the selling rate at Rs 39.10. Similarly, 100 South Korean won is being exchanged at Rs 10.27 for buying and Rs 10.31 for selling.
The Swedish kronor has been fixed at Rs 16.46 for buying and Rs 16.52 for selling, while the Danish krone is being traded at Rs 23.99 for buying and Rs 24.09 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 19.74 and a selling rate of Rs 19.81. The Kuwaiti dinar is being exchanged at Rs 503.98 for buying and Rs 505.93 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 410.05 for buying and Rs 411.64 for selling, while the Omani rial stands at Rs 401.61 for buying and Rs 403.16 for selling.
The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The central bank also noted that exchange rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on its official website.
