CPN-UML intensifies door-to-door campaign in Damak-8 for HoR by-election



DAMAK: The CPN-UML has intensified its door-to-door campaign at the tole and ward levels targeting the House of Representatives (HoR) member election scheduled for March 5.

The UML Ward Committee of Damak-8 has stepped up its election-focused outreach program in preparation for the upcoming polls.

According to the Ward Election Mobilization Committee, a door-to-door campaign was conducted today in Saraswati Tole and earlier in Kirat Kanchan Tole within the ward.

Election Mobilization Committee Coordinator Dharma Prasad Dahal (Dipesh) said the campaign in Saraswati Tole began near the Ward Office of Damak-8 and passed through the Organic Vegetable Market, Sajha Dairy, Damak Hospital located in Ward-8, Makalu Marg, and concluded in front of Sajilo Mart.

Vice-chair of UML Ward Committee Damak-8, Yubaraj Acharya, said leaders and cadres met voters during the campaign and sought their support.

Similarly, the campaign in Kirat Kanchan Tole began from Kirat Chowk and covered areas including Bikash Marg and Aitabare, where leaders reached out to households to seek votes, according to Dahal, who also serves as the Ward Chair of Damak-8.

The Ward Committee also informed that another door-to-door campaign is scheduled to begin at 4 pm today from in front of Coronation Hotel in Damak-8.
